There will be two new 10 week Arabic courses for adults starting in September 2011 which will take place at the Clovelly Centre, Clovelly Road, Southampton.
Beginners (Wednesdays 7-9pm - Starting 21st September 2011)
This course is suitable for those with no previous knowledge of the Arabic language or those who have some familiarity with the script but are unable to understand what they are reading.

Intermediate (Pre-GCSE) (Tuesdays 7-9pm - Starting 20th September 2011)
This course is suitable for those who are able to read the Arabic script who have already had some basic grounding in the principles of Arabic grammar. Basic grammar will be revised and a variety of conversation topics will be discussed.

*Gateway to Arabic Book 2 by Imran Hamza Alawiye
For those who are unfamiliar with the Arabic script then Gateway to Arabic Book 1 by Imran Hamza Alawiye is strongly recommended (available from www.greatwaytoarabic.com)
Intermediate Level
* Iqra Arabic Reader Book 2 (new) Textbook + Workbook
