NEW ARABIC COURSES STARTING SEPTEMBER 2012!

There will be two new 10 week Arabic courses for adults starting in September 2012 which will take place at the Clovelly Centre, Clovelly Road, Southampton.

Beginners (Tuesdays 7-9pm - Starting 25th September 2012)

This course is suitable for those with no previous knowledge of the Arabic language or those who have some familiarity with the script but are unable to understand what they are reading.

Intermediate (Wednesdays 7-9pm - Starting 26th September 2012)

This course is suitable for those who are able to read the Arabic script who have already had some basic grounding in the principles of Arabic grammar. Basic grammar will be revised and a variety of conversation topics will be discussed.

Adults on (income related benefits) Free!!

Beginners Level

• Read and Speak Arabic by Wightwick and Gaafar

• Gateway to Arabic Book 2 by Imran Hamza Alawiye available from http://www.gatewaytoarabic.com/
• For those who are unfamiliar with the Arabic script then Gateway to Arabic Book 1 by Imran Hamza Alawiye is strongly recommended (available from http://www.gatewaytoarabic.com/)

Intermediate Level

• Iqra Arabic Reader 2 Textbook + Workbook (old version). Available from www.iqra.org or www.alfarooqinternational.com/
